Comfy Concerts
As hosts of the Paint Creek Comfy
Concerts,
Phil and Althea Doolittle extend to you a cordial invitation
to come to our home to enjoy two evenings
of
great folk music, Canadian style.
May 18th John
Wort Hannam
A
Kerrville New Folk Winner who has also won several
Calgary Folk Festival songwriting competitions,
John has most recently been honored to be invited
to spend time at Guy Clark’s Nashville home co-writing!
Come see what caught Guy’s attention (and ours!)
John will be joined on stage by two of his regular sidemen
for full arrangements of his excellent music.
This
concert will be opened by a pair of Kates from Ann Arbor,
who perform as the duo “Katseye”. Their
primary passion is harmony singing, which they support with guitar, banjo,
autoharp and ukulele. Their music is a mix of folk standards, novelty songs,
modern classics with a jazzy feel, and original songs.
