Joyous Noise will be the featured band playing live music for the OCTDS - Oakland County Traditional Dance Society - 4th Saturday dance at the Hunter Community Center in Clawson (same location as Starry Night for a Ramble) - 509 Fisher Court, three blocks north of 14 mile and three blocks east of Main Street. No Partner or experience required. All dances taught. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. This is the regular 4th Saturday dance series, from 8 - 11 pm. Beginners should make sure they arrive by 8 pm as all the dance moves used throughout the evening will be demonstrated in the early part of the evening. Info can be seen at www.octds.org. Several members of Joyous Noise are present or past members of PCFS.  The band members are Tom Allen - guitar, sound for the dance, sometime caller, Jim Coon - mandolin, Dotty Decker – hammered dulcimer and guitar, Bobbi Hurst - hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, flute and whistles, fiddler Bert Stein, and Mark Williams - acoustic bass.
